My apologies that the site has not been updated since August. This was due to me having a prolonged stay in hospital and, since returning home, have had to take things easy and not do so much work on the computer. However, I hope to keep the site up to date in the future.
The only item for your diaries is that on Good Friday (25th March 2005 at 7.30) George IV and Alastair McDonald are appearing at the Scottish Exhibition & Conference Centre Lomond Auditorium in Glasgow, in a 'Chernobyl Aid Charity Concert'. Tickets are £20 and can only be obtained from the SECC.
Note that the CD of 'Homegrown' with George IV and George V, has been re-issued - but with a change to one track. 'Love Games' has been taken off and instead it has a duet by the two Georges of 'Life Is Like A Mountain Railroad'.

An old George IV guitar is being sold on eBay.com. Part of the proceeds will go to the Nashville non-profit organization, “Audrey's Dream”. Thia is named after Audrey Williams, who was Hank Williams' wife. Her dream was to someday establish a recovery center in Nashville in Hank's name to help those with substance abuse problems and their families.

It was a surprise last week when George's 'The Man I Used To Be' entered at No 21 in the "E.M.S. European Top 40 Most Popular Independent Tracks" - but this week it has shot up to No 6. Not bad for a grandad who will be 65 next week!
