Those of you who knew Elma Alexander either from visiting our website orthrough her many other interests, will be sad to hear that she died onFriday 2nd April at her home in Fife. Elma was a huge country music fanattending concerts, get togethers and festivals. I first met her at a George IVshow in Fife on a dreadful night in November 1984. Radio announcements hadwarned travellers not to venture out unless their journey was reallynecessary but, of course, Elma wouldn't let a little thing like that stopher from seeing George. Elma worked tirelessly on this site till ill health caused her to give itup and that's when my son kindly took it over. Her computer was Elma's lifeline and when she became too ill to use it herquality of life deteriorated rapidly and combined with failing physicalhealth her last two years afforded little fun for her. She was a greatinspiration to everyone who knew her and had a fantastic sense of humour.She will be sadly missed. Sue Marshall
